Vesselin Marinov

Vesselin Marinov is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in quantitative research and innovation. Currently serving as the Head of Quantitative Innovation and Head of Quantitative Research for GFI and Macro at Citadel since March 2018, Marinov previously held the position of Senior Quantitative Researcher at Hutchin Hill Capital. Earlier roles include serving as a Quantitative Researcher at Citadel from 2013 to 2017 and as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where responsibilities included derivatives analysis and IRP model validation. Marinov holds a PhD in Statistical Physics and an MSc in Mathematics (Mathematical Finance) from Rutgers University, along with a BSc in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
