Vivek Mahanta

Vivek Mahanta, PhD, is a data science executive with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Data Science, Generative AI, and Data Engineering at Citi, they lead a team in developing innovative machine learning and deep learning models. Previously, Vivek founded two companies, Valuemidas Strategic Planning Corporation and Stockteller.com, and has held leadership roles at Chubb and served as an adjunct faculty member at Drexel University. They continue their education at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and the University at Buffalo while pursuing a PhD in Operations Management at Drexel University.
