Maanasa S. is currently the Lead Service Designer at the City and County of San Francisco within The Mayor's Office of Innovation, supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies, since December 2023. Maanasa has extensive experience as a Senior Researcher and Strategist at ZENDA, LLC, where intricate business and customer challenges were addressed for Fortune 500 companies. Previous roles include Behavioral Designer at The World Bank, leading research to enhance emergency shelter services in Haiti, and UX Researcher & Designer at Outside the Byte, where user and market needs were identified. Maanasa has also consulted for the Inter-Parliamentary Union and contributed as a Design Research Associate at The New School. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Design from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor of Architecture from KOSMICCODE.
