Kimberly Olivares

Kimberly Olivares is a dedicated public servant currently serving as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer for the City of Austin, where they direct treasury, real estate, and development financing functions. With a strong background in performance management and government finance, Kimberly has previously held roles such as Director of Financial Services and Chief Performance Officer, overseeing a range of financial initiatives and strategic planning efforts. They have taught graduate-level courses in public management and finance as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The LBJ School of Public Affairs and continue to leverage their expertise to positively impact the Austin community. Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Arts in History Public Service from the University of Notre Dame.
