Neil Dimes

Neil Dimes currently serves as a Governor and member of the Audit Committee at City of Bristol College since March 2023. Previously, from April 2013 to July 2022, Neil was a Partner at BDO LLP, where Neil led the Business Assurance department in Bristol, offering audit and advisory services to corporates, charities, and pension funds following the merger with PKF (UK) LLP. Neil was a Partner at PKF (UK) LLP from December 2005 to April 2013, overseeing the Bristol office and managing audit and advisory services for SMEs, charities, and pension funds. Neil's career began at Ernst & Young as a Director from 1989 to 2005, and started as a Trainee Accountant at Richards & Co from 1985 to 1989. Neil holds a degree in Maths from the University of Bristol, where Neil studied from 1982 to 1985, having previously attended Torquay Boys' Grammar School.
