Rebecca Basquez, PMP, GISP, has extensive experience in geographic information systems (GIS), currently serving as the IT GIS Manager for the City of Corpus Christi since November 2020. Previous roles include GIS Software Engineer at Blue Sky Evolution, Geographic Information Systems Coordinator at Audubon Companies, and various positions within UniversalPegasus International, including GIS Applications Specialist and GIS Analyst. Rebecca's career began as a Graphic Technician at American Electric Power and has evolved through multiple GIS-focused positions across different organizations. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and a certificate in Full Stack Web and Mobile Development from Nucamp Coding Bootcamp.
