Kevin Babcock

Kevin Babcock is a seasoned GIS professional with extensive experience in managing diverse GIS projects and teams since joining the City of Denton in October 2011 as GIS Applications Supervisor. In this role, Kevin oversees project execution, budget management, and the development of departmental policies and procedures, while serving as a liaison with GIS vendors. Prior positions include Applications Architect and GIS Administrator, where responsibilities encompassed project management, technical direction, and user training. Kevin's earlier career includes roles at American Water as a GIS Technician and at USDA-NRCS as a Geospatial Data Collection Technician. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of North Texas and an Associate of Science in General Studies from Paris Junior College.
