The Community

Set between the Cascade Mountains on the east and Port Gardner Bay on the west, Everett offers no shortage of activities. Port Gardner Bay boasts the west coast’s largest public marina, and hosts Naval Station Everett, a farmer’s market, restaurants and more. Away from the waterfront, Everett is home to the Silvertips Hockey Club and the AquaSox, the minor league baseball affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.  

The thriving arts and cultural scene in Everett gives the city an abundance of live music, outdoor art, and theater. Newly-established Washington State University Everett sits across from Everett Community College. In addition to outdoor recreation, arts and culture, and higher education, Everett is also the home of the Boeing Company, Funko, and other high-tech enterprises.

The Engineering and GIS Team at the City of Everett, WA, is responsible for supporting the planning, design, management, and maintenance of public infrastructure projects. They provide expertise in utility mapping, surface water management, and geographic information systems (GIS) to enhance city operations and services. The team also develops and maintains telemetry and SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling public utilities, ensuring that the city's infrastructure meets the needs of its growing and diverse community.

Engineering and GIS Team

The Information Technology Team at the City of Everett oversees the technological infrastructure and services crucial for city operations and public services. Team members are responsible for network and telecom engineering, operational technology security, IT support, cybersecurity, and managing IT projects, particularly transit-related. They also lead applications analysis, IT operations, and systems analysis, all under the guidance of the IT Director. This diverse team ensures the city’s technology systems are secure, efficient, and effective in serving the community’s needs.

Information Technology Team

The Community Support and Outreach Team for the City of Everett engages with residents to foster a connected and informed community. They offer various services including public information dissemination, educational programs, and strategic planning for community events. Key activities include addressing community concerns, promoting local initiatives, and enhancing public awareness about city resources.
