Ori Fernandez, MBA, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Economic Development for the City of Fort Worth since February 2022, overseeing team activities related to program planning, compliance, and budget development. Prior to this role, Ori was the Director of Economic Development for the City of Del Rio from June 2015 to January 2022, where significant achievements included establishing a Type A Economic Development Corporation, attracting capital investments, and advocating for the creation of a Downtown Historic District. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management and English from Rice University, an MBA from Sul Ross State University, and a Master of Education in Administration. Ori also graduated from the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute in April 2021.
