Ryan Ghobadi

Ryan Ghobadi is a seasoned GIS professional with extensive experience in spatial data analysis and management. Currently serving as a Senior Spatial GIS Analyst for the City of Gold Coast since November 2021, Ryan specializes in developing and designing GIS web maps and applications using Esri ArcGIS Enterprise. Previously, Ryan held positions such as GIS Planning Analyst and GIS Officer at the City of Gold Coast, Asset Manager & GIS Coordinator at Balonne Shire Council, and a Research Associate and Sessional Academic at Queensland University of Technology. Ryan's background includes practical roles in various organizations, including GIS Consultant at Gostar Pajooh and GIS Technician at Karon Amayesh. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in GIS and Remote Sensing from QUT and a Bachelor's degree in Soil Erosion and Conservation from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz.
