Emerson Yellen

Emerson Yellen, CPRE, currently serves as the Deputy Director of Parks Recreation and Cultural Services for the City of Lodi since January 2024. In this role, responsibilities include developing and implementing departmental goals, managing budgets, and collaborating with various organizations to enhance community services. Prior experience includes serving as Recreation Manager for the City of Missouri City, where Yellen managed facilities and events, secured funding, and coordinated community festivals. Previous roles also include positions with the City of Lake Jackson, Jewish Community Center of San Francisco, and Trico Centre, focusing on aquatics program management, youth recreation, and customer service. Emerson Yellen holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Service Leadership from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
