The boundaries of this city extend roughly from the Bayshore Freeway on the east to Skyline Boulevard on the west. This distance is approximately 1.7 miles. The distance between the north and south city limit line is approximately 2.05 miles. GOVERNMENT Millbrae operates as a General Law City, providing for a Council/Manager form of government that clearly distinguishes the legislative power of the City Council from the administrative powers of the City Manager.
