Elliot Altbaum

City Planner- Long Range Planning Division at City of Minneapolis

Elliot Altbaum is a City Planner in the Long Range Planning Division for the City of Minneapolis since June 2015 and previously served as a Housing Policy Analyst in the Office of Lisa Bender. Elliot's experience includes working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Clark University, a Software Program Tester at Clark Labs, and a GIS Research Fellow at Minnesota 2020. From 2012 to May 2014, Elliot worked as a Student Organizer for the Real Food Challenge, mobilizing students and collaborating with dining services on food procurement audits. Elliot contributed to the redesign of the undergraduate core curriculum as a member of the LEEP Student Advisory Team at Clark University. Additional experience includes roles in admissions and front-of-house operations at Lucia's Restaurant, as well as a Summer Fellow position at Acara Institute. Elliot holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Clark University.
