Hanna Kim

Hanna Kim is an experienced professional currently serving as the Community Schools & Philly Reading Coaches Volunteer Coordinator for the City of Philadelphia since August 2023. As the Founder of the Asian Food Collective, Hanna has successfully raised over $30,000 to provide culturally relevant meals for the South Philly community and has engaged numerous volunteers and organizations. Previously, Hanna worked as the National Communications Manager at City Year, where a significant increase in blog viewership was achieved. Hanna also served as a National Civic Impact Fellow at the Asian American Women's Political Initiative and has held various roles within the City of Philadelphia and City Year, contributing to civic engagement and student success. Hanna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and U.S. History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
