Carla de la Chapa

Carla De La Chapa currently serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Phoenix since April 2025. Prior to this role, Carla De La Chapa held various positions at CPS Energy from July 2013 to April 2025, including Senior Manager of Climate & Sustainability, Manager of Business Integration/Customer Insights, and Manager of Energy Savers Concierge. Earlier in her career, Carla De La Chapa worked as the Environmental Health Safety Coordinator at Alamo Environmental, Inc. from April 2003 to August 2006. Educationally, Carla De La Chapa earned a Master of Science in Environmental Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Our Lady of the Lake University.
