Ruth Perez

Ruth Perez has extensive experience in the field of parks and recreation, currently serving as Parks, Recreation, and Facilities Supervisor for the City of San José since April 2016, with prior roles including Recreation Program Specialist, Interim Event Coordinator II, Interim Recreation Specialist, and Benefited Recreation Leader. Previous experience includes working as an After School Leader at Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County from January 2015 to June 2016. Ruth Perez holds a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from San José State University, earned between 2017 and 2019, and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the same institution, expected to complete in August 2024.
