Naomi Kovacs

Naomi Kovacs, MPA, is a skilled professional with extensive experience in public administration, consulting, and nonprofit management. Currently serving as Deputy City Clerk for the City of Santa Barbara, Naomi has also been a board member of the Santa Barbara Peace Corps Association since 2002, and has acted as an independent consultant for various organizations and individuals since 2019. Notable past roles include Interim District Representative for Santa Barbara County, District Representative for the 2nd District County Supervisor, and Executive Director for both Santa Barbara Village and the Citizens Planning Association of Santa Barbara County. Naomi holds a Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara and multiple Master's degrees in Public Administration from the University of Southern California, with an emphasis on nonprofit management.
