Amy Chan

Amy Chan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant in Health and Safety for the City of Toronto since May 2008, Amy provides leadership in incident investigation, training, and regulatory compliance, while also acting as an ambassador for the Office Modernization Program. Previous roles include Environmental Health & Safety Representative, where responsibilities encompassed leading audits for ISO certifications, emergency planning, and the development of health and safety compliance programs, particularly within the water and wastewater sector. Additionally, Amy has experience as a Technical Trainer in health and safety and as an Environmental Lead Auditor at CALA, further establishing a robust foundation in environmental management systems and compliance consultation. Amy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Organic Chemistry and Microbiology from the University of Toronto.
