Julian Hawkins

Julian Hawkins is an experienced operations engineer currently serving as Sub-Head at The University of British Columbia, with prior roles as Shift Sub-Head and Operating Engineer since October 2013. In addition, Julian has been working as a Maintenance Technician and Power Engineer for the City of Vancouver since April 2018. With earlier experience as a Power Engineer at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts from August 2009 to October 2013, and a brief stint as a Plant Operator at CNRL in June 2009, Julian's career began as an Equipment Operator at Canfor from 2001 to 2006. Julian's educational background includes a 4th Class Power Engineer degree from Northern Lights College and training in Gas Process Operations from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
