Theresa Dougherty

Theresa Dougherty has been with City Year since February 2006, currently serving as Associate Director of Grant Finance after holding various leadership roles including Development Director and Director of Corporate Relations and Development Operations. Responsibilities include raising over $1.5M annually in private revenue, managing public sector grants, and overseeing a team of development staff. Prior to these positions, Theresa also contributed as Development Associate and Headquarters and Admissions Manager. Theresa's early career with City Year began as an AmeriCorps Member from 2003 to 2005, focusing on service-learning initiatives and data collection for educational programs. Theresa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Math from William & Mary and began studies in Computer Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
