Rafa Serrano

Rafa Serrano is currently the CTO at Civitatis.com. Prior to this, they served as the CIO / CTO at Civitatis.com from January 2015 to February 2018. Before that, they were the Head of Development at Viajes El Corte Ingles from August 2012 to January 2015.

Rafa began their career as a Java Architect at Extrema Sistemas from August 2007 to December 2009. Rafa then became an Analyst at Indra from January 2003 to December 2007. From December 2009 to August 2012, they served as Team Leader (Flights booking engine) at Rumbo. Bosch Reutlingen was their first employer, where they worked as an Engineer from October 2002 to May 2003. Rafa then moved to Bosch Madrid and worked as a Measurements Engineer from October 2001 to September 2002.

Rafa Serrano holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, as well as a degree in Computer Science for Management from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. Rafa also attended La Salle Griñón.

Rafa Serrano reports to Alberto Gutiérrez, Founder & CEO. They work with Ivanka García - Head of Travel Guides, Álvaro Olmedo - Head of Talent & Culture, and Domingo Martín - Head of Customer Care.
