PINS The Artist has a diverse work experience in the art and design industry. They started their career as a Freelance Creative at Pinspired in 2008, providing artistic services and teaching young people various computer packages for creative projects. They also worked as a Creative Therapist, helping young people express themselves through art.
Prior to that, PINS had a role at UKC - Agency, where they co-founded the company and worked as a designer. They designed t-shirt prints and promotional material, and implemented marketing strategies to generate consumer interest in the brand.
PINS also worked as a Freelance Graphic Artist at Clarendon Fine Art and BT, where they utilized their graphic design skills. Additionally, they worked at Kaiz Boutique/Agency as a Creative Art Worker and Visual Merchandiser, where they handled creative artwork, provided styling direction for promotional shots, and merchandised fashion products.
PINS The Artist has a diverse education history. They began their academic journey at John Ruskin College from 1999 to 2001, where they pursued an advanced diploma in Art & Design / Graphical Communication, completing their GNVQ Advanced / A Level. Following this, they attended the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London, for a year from 2001 to 2002, undertaking a foundation course in Menswear. Eventually, PINS The Artist completed their education at the University of Sussex from 2002 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion with Business.
