Satish Rao

Satish Rao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy and technology innovation, currently serving as Managing Director at Clareo since January 2008, where a focus is placed on sustainable growth and decarbonization in the industrial and consumer sectors. As a Cofounder and Executive Director of the MIOS Consortium from January 2021 to January 2024, Satish led initiatives aimed at achieving interoperability and open standards in the mining industry. Prior to these roles, Satish was the Owner and Principal of FirstPath Consulting LLC, providing expertise in growth strategies, and held positions at IBM Strategy & Change and Motorola, where leadership in consulting and engineering teams was emphasized. Satish holds an MBA in Management and Strategy from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Iowa State University.
