Satwik Seshasai

CTO at Clearco

Satwik Seshasai is the current CTO at Clearco. Prior to this, they were an advisor and investor at goVolition, where they helped the company become the hub of the hardware industry by building the marketplace that helps teams spec and source all of their components from prototype to production. Customers include 3M, NASA, Amazon Robotics. Satwik also served as an advisor at Philadelphia Media Network: Philly.com, Inquirer and Daily News, partnering with board chair Josh Kopelman and publisher/CEO Terry Eggers to identify opportunities to create a sustainable model for local journalism. Seshasai then went on to become the Chief Technology Officer, Spring (acquired by Compass and ShopRunner), before taking on their current role at Clearco. Satwik is also a board member at Barclays-backed SendFriend, the first US-blockchain remittance firm.

Satwik Seshasai received their Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Systems - Technology, Management and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they received their Master of Science in Technology and Policy also from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Satwik also holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the same school.
