Steve Higareda

Steve Higareda is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Co-Host for the Cybersecurity Mentors Podcast and Co-Founder of Cyber Professional Services, Steve has also held the position of Director of Security Infrastructure & Operations at Clemson University since April 2022. Previous experience includes directing the Security & Privacy Office at illumifin, serving as a Senior Consultant for Security Governance & Compliance at Concentrix, and managing the Cyber Security Operations Center at Clemson University. Steve's career began as an Information Security Analyst at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System and Robert Half Technology, preceded by internships in security analysis at Clemson University and network analysis at Spartanburg Community College. Educational credentials comprise an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation and a BA in Computer Science, both from Clemson University.
