Faisal Bakaeen

Faisal Bakaeen is the Director of the Coronary Center at Cleveland Clinic and a Professor of Surgery in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. They serve on the Board of Directors for the American Association for Thoracic Surgery and are the Co-Chair of the Adult Cardiac Clinical Practice and Standards Committee. Faisal is also involved with the Executive Council of the Eastern Cardiothoracic Surgical Society and provides consulting services at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. They previously held the position of Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center and were a Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. Faisal completed their Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency at Baylor College of Medicine.
