Matthew Wu

Matthew Wu's work experience begins with their current position as a Frontend Software Engineer at Click Contracts, which they started in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Fullstack Web Developer at Studio Tofu starting in August 2021. In this role, they worked on various freelance web development projects and collaborated with clients in different phases of product development.

Before Studio Tofu, Matthew worked at Zoee as a Frontend Software Engineer from August 2022 to March 2023. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Elite Scholars of China, starting in July 2014 and ending in June 2022. In this role, they served as an Educational Consultant and Team Leader, managing a team of counselors and guiding Chinese high school students through the process of applying to universities.

Matthew also has experience as a PR and Communications Manager at Chinaccelerator from July 2019 to January 2020. In this position, they crafted and executed international social media strategies, researched and wrote long-form content, and built relationships with event organizers and media partners.

Earlier in their career, Matthew gained experience as an Office Assistant at the Bowdoin College Annual Giving Office from February 2012 to May 2014. Matthew also served as a Regional Office Intern at The Office of Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand for the months of May 2013 to July 2013, where they staffed events, attended meetings, and drafted documents.

Additionally, Matthew worked as a Research Assistant at Wadsworth Center, NYS Department of Health from May 2011 to August 2011, assisting a doctoral student in the Molecular Toxicology Laboratory. Matthew also worked as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at the Bowdoin College Department of Chemistry from January 2011 to May 2011, assisting students with their lab work and maintaining a safe lab environment.

Matthew Wu attended Albany High School from 2006 to 2010 and obtained a High School Diploma. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Government and Legal Studies at Bowdoin College from 2010 to 2014. In 2018, they enrolled in the International Chinese Language Program at National Taiwan University, completing their studies in 2019. Recently, in 2021, Matthew attended Le Wagon, but no specific degree or field of study is provided.
