Leela Ramnath

Leela Ramnath serves as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Sustainability Strategy at Warburg Pincus LLC, where responsibilities also include leading Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) efforts. In addition to this role, Leela is a Board Member at Ownership Works and ClimeCo. Prior to these positions, Leela held various roles including Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations and Head of Innovation and Sustainability at Tau Investment Management, focusing on investment strategies in the fashion supply chain. Experience also includes a volunteer consultancy with TechnoServe and a significant tenure at Barclays Capital as Vice President of Emerging Markets Sales. Academically, Leela holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
