Pete Solman

Pete Solman has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Pete is currently the Commercial Development Director at Clinigen Group since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Alliance Director at Clinigen Group from January 2019 to March 2020. Before joining Clinigen Group, Pete worked at Wilmington Healthcare as the Commercial Director from July 2018 to December 2018. Pete also served as the Account Director at Wilmington Healthcare from September 2016 to June 2018 and as a Senior NHS Insights Consultant from April 2014 to August 2016. In addition, Pete has worked at Big Sofa as a Client Director from April 2013 to March 2014 and as an Associate Partner from January 2011 to March 2014. Pete also held the position of UK Haemophilia Business Unit Manager at Pfizer from July 2010 to December 2010, and UK Anti-infectives Business Unit Manager at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals from June 2008 to July 2010. Pete's career in the pharmaceutical industry started at Lloyds Pharmacy, where they held various roles including Contracts Manager and Merchandising Team Leader from 1991 to 1995. Overall, Pete has extensive experience in sales, marketing, business development, and leadership roles within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector.

Pete Solman completed their secondary education at Gordano School from 1980 to 1987, obtaining 10 O-levels and 3 A Levels in Maths, English, and German. Pete then pursued a BA Hons degree in European Studies and German (Economics, Sociology & Philosophy) at the University of Wolverhampton from 1987 to 1991.
