David McCreary

VP of Software Engineering at CLMBR

David McCreary has a long and varied career in software engineering. David began their career in 2010 as a Software Analyst/Developer/Designer at Qubius. In 2011, they moved to Phunware, Inc. as a Software Engineer. In 2013, David joined Slalom Consulting as a Consultant. In 2016, they became Head of Product Development at Oply. In 2017, they were promoted to VP of Engineering at Boiler Room. In 2018, they became CTO / Co-Founder at Eastnine, which was later acquired by PureGym. In 2021, they became Head of Software Engineering (PureGym at Home) at PureGym. Most recently, in 2022, they were promoted to VP of Software Engineering at CLMBR.

David McCreary obtained a Master's of Computer Science in Distributed Systems from RMIT University between 2007 and 2009. In 2013, they obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level certification from Amazon Web Services. In 2014, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance. David McCreary also attended the University of California, Los Angeles.
