Patricia Halliday is an accomplished financial services professional with extensive experience in risk management and credit analysis. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director and Chair of the Board Risk Committee at Close Brothers since August 2021, Halliday previously held the position of Chief Risk Officer at Santander UK from May 2017 to November 2020. Prior to that, Halliday was Chief Risk Officer International at GE Capital from June 2011 to April 2017 and held various leadership roles at Deutsche Bank, Barclays Investment Bank, Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking, and NatWest. Halliday's academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic History from the University of Liverpool, earned between 1985 and 1988.
