Ayaan Israni is an experienced investor, advisor and operator in financial technology, and brings deep expertise in investment banking and capital markets innovation to the Cloud9 leadership team. As Head of Corporate Development, Ayaan oversees the firm’s global commercial strategy, leads cross-functional growth initiatives, and manages strategic alliances and M&A activity.

Before joining Cloud9, Ayaan was responsible for building and managing a portfolio of strategic investments within J.P.Morgan’s Corporate and Investment Bank. He also spent time with J.P.Morgan’s Financial Sponsors coverage team in London, serving clients across EMEA. Prior to J.P.Morgan, Ayaan was a strategy consultant with a focus on the asset management industry.

Ayaan holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Toronto, an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a Masters Degree from HEC Paris.
