Carrie Walter is a Co-CEO at Clue, a position they have held since June 2019. Prior to their current role, they were a Principal Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from August 2015 to June 2019, where they advised on environmental and regulatory risks, crisis situations and compliance. Carrie began their career as a Trainee at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in February 2007, before becoming an Associate in September 2011. In October 2011, they left Freshfields to join Bond Dickinson LLP as a Managing Associate, where they worked in planning and environmental law until June 2015.

Carrie Walter has a MPhil in Land Economy (Planning) from the University of Cambridge, a BSc in Environmental Policy with Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a GDL / LPC in City focus (corporate, finance) from BPP Law School.
