Nigel Cunningham

Nigel Cunningham is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate and Structured Finance at Virgin Money since March 2021, focusing on corporate clients and new business development. Prior to this role, Nigel amassed over three decades of experience at Clydesdale Bank, where responsibilities included Senior Director of Corporate Banking, managing corporate clientele in Scotland and the North West of England, as well as leadership roles in Edinburgh, Perth, and Stirling. Nigel began a career in finance in 1988 as a Graduate Trainee and progressed through various positions, including Branch Manager and Credit Manager. Educational qualifications include an MA from Edinburgh University and further studies at Edinburgh Napier University.
