John Shrewsberry

Trustee at Claremont McKenna College

John Shrewsberry has been a Trustee at Claremont McKenna College since January 2009. Prior to that, they were the Group Head of the Securities Investment Group at Wells Fargo from May 2001 to January 2009. In this role, they were responsible for sales and trading teams in OTC derivative areas (rates, commodities and equities) and a credit-intensive principal investment portfolio. From January 2009 to May 2014, they served as President of Wells Fargo Securities, responsible for investment banking, capital markets, institutional fixed income, equity, and derivatives sales and trading, investment research, and a credit-intensive principal investment portfolio. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Mr. Shrewsberry was Co-Founder of American Commercial Capital from May 1998 to May 2001. John also served as Vice President of the Fixed Income Division at Credit Suisse from May 1992 to May 1997 and as a Certified Public Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand from December 1987 to May 1990.

John Shrewsberry received their Masters of Public and Private Management from Yale School of Management and their Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
