Rui Matos

Rui Matos is an accomplished professional in the field of electrical engineering and Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS), currently serving as the OCS Department Manager at CME - Construção e Manutenção Electromecânica, SA since January 2021. Since February 2015, Rui has also functioned as the Director at RM - OCS ADVISER Ltd, specializing in consultancy, supervision, and engineering for OCS construction projects. Rui's previous experience includes roles at Network Rail, where responsibilities spanned from Design Engineer to Senior Project Engineer overseeing various P2R projects, and OLE Construction Manager focusing on construction management. Rui has held managerial positions at PINTSCH BAMAG and Comsa Emte, with a strong emphasis on technical proposal development, project planning, and financial control for catenary projects in Spain and Portugal. Rui obtained a Licenciado degree in Electrotecnia from ISEL - Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa from 1990 to 1994.
