Karen Pugliese

Karen Pugliese is currently the Chief Growth Officer at Weber Shandwick. Karen has been with the company since January of 2020 and in their current position for just over a year. Prior to their current role, Pugliese served as the Chief of Staff from January 2017 to January 2020. Before that, they were the EVP, Head of Growth & Business Development from November 2010 to January 2017.

Pugliese started their career in 1987 as an SVP, Director of Consumer Marketing at Creamer Dickson Basford. Karen then moved on to KP Communications in 1995 where they worked as a PR consultant, writer, and strategist. In 2010, they joined Weber Shandwick Worldwide as the EVP/Consumer Group.

Throughout their career, Pugliese has been responsible for creating and directing award-winning public relations campaigns on behalf of many of the world's best-known brands.

Karen Pugliese received a BA in Political Science from Union College.

Their manager is Gail Heimann, CEO. They are on a team with Chris Deri - Chief Corporate Affairs Officer & President, C-Suite Advisory, Laura Schoen - Chair, Latin America and President, Global Healthcare Practice, and Judith Harrison - Executive Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion.
