Martin Elvar

Martin Elvar is the CTO and Full Stack Developer at CMP Company. Martin has also worked as the VP of Digital Technology at Green Island and as the CTO and Co-Founder at Skybox Technologies ApS.

Martin has a wide range of experience in technology, including developing business logic in Elixir/Phoenix/GraphQL, building frontends with React & ApolloJS, and creating firmware for water plant using the nerves platform. Martin is also experienced in Kubernetes and Digital Ocean.

Martin's main objective at Green Island was to develop a community development platform. Martin chose Phoenix LiveView combined with Tailwind and AlpineJS because it enabled him to push out fast prototypes without compromising development happiness. The platform was deployed on Digital Ocean using Kubernetes.

At Skybox Technologies ApS, Martin helped build a platform for esports clubs and organisations where they could manage their teams and players. Teams and players were able to upload replays of their matches and track statistics and progress. Skybox was also widely used for analyst in broadcasting, for showcasing replays and tactics.

Martin Elvar studied computer science at the Københavns Erhvervsakademi and later became a web integrator at Roskilde Teknisk Skole.
