Andrew Hay

Andrew Hay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and human resources across leading companies. Currently serving as the Head of Operations at Co-op since May 2015, Andrew focuses on enhancing the efficiency of the Legal and Secretariat team by developing leadership capabilities, managing risks, and driving transformational change. Prior to this role, Andrew held various positions at Sainsbury's from 1984 to 2015, including Strategic HR Business Partner and OD Manager, where responsibilities involved organizational effectiveness, HR operations management, and implementing significant HR projects. Andrew holds a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel & Development from CIPD, completed in 2013.
