Stephen Pedersen is an accomplished cybersecurity executive with over two decades of experience in the telecom and banking sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Cyber & Information Security at Coast Capital Savings since September 2017, Stephen Pedersen specializes in cyber risk management, incident response, and security development. Prior to this, Stephen held multiple leadership positions at TELUS, including Director of Information Security, where responsibilities included operational transformation, identity access governance, and compliance management. Additional roles at TELUS encompassed Security Development & Implementation Manager, Security Infrastructure Operations Manager, Chief Security Architect, Security Solutions Architect, and Senior Security Analyst. Stephen Pedersen holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
