Austen McClernon

Austen McClernon is a Senior Software Engineer at Cockroach Labs since December 2021, where prior roles included Software Engineer. Previous experience includes serving as Head Teaching Assistant at the University of Melbourne, focusing on graduate courses in parallel and distributed algorithms, along with Teaching Assistant roles in various computer science subjects. Austen has interned as a Software Engineer at both Airwallex and Atlassian. Additionally, Austen held leadership positions as President and Treasurer of the University of Melbourne Competitive Programming Club. Academically, Austen earned a Master of Computer Science and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the University of Melbourne.
