Leora D.

Leora D. is currently serving as a Legal Extern at the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada since November 2023. Previously, Leora held the position of Social Media Manager at the Asian Community Resource Center and worked as a Restorative Justice Intern for Code Switch: Restorative Justice for Girls of Color, both starting in February and January 2023, respectively. Prior experience includes involvement with Clark County's AAPI Community Commission between November 2021 and June 2023, and serving as an Administrative Coordinator at the ACLU of Nevada from January 2020 to July 2022. Leora also interned with the National Federation of Filipino American Associations as a National Intern in early 2021 and worked as a Legal Assistant at James Kwon Attorneys At Law from September 2019 to January 2020. Initial legal experience was gained as a Legal Intern at The Thater Law Group in the summer of 2018. Leora earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy: Law & Justice from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and graduated from Canyon Springs High School with a diploma in Law.
