Code Corporation Promotes Jessica Johnson to Director of Manufacturing, Code

Code Corporation, a global leader in barcode scanning and data capture technologies, today announced it has promoted Jessica Johnson to the position of Director of Manufacturing.

Johnson has been with the company for 10 years. She started as an intern and steadily worked her way up to greater levels of leadership and responsibility. In this new position, Johnson will lead a team of seven and directly coordinate with the product development, engineering, design, software, marketing and quality teams to drive production needs including strategic planning, improvement, scheduling and budgeting. She will also communicate and coordinate with supply chain vendors, manufacturing partners and factories around the world to ensure the manufacturability, quality and large-scale manufacturing of the products are optimized.

Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering in 2013 from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Furthermore, because of his technical background and leadership, the IT team at Code will report to him as well. Christensen launched his career in public accounting spending four years with two regional CPA firms in Salt Lake City, Utah after earning two Bachelors of Arts degrees in Finance and Accounting and a Master’s Degree of Professional Accountancy from the University of Utah. From there, he went on to secure senior finance positions with technology companies including SaaS and Enterprise software companies in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Data Analytics, and Online Backup/Storage. From there, he transitioned to the pharmaceutical and medical device space where, for the last few years, he has focused on corporate controllership and strategic planning.
