SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 2021--Code Corporation, a global leader in barcode scanning and data capture technologies, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Emily Scales, Sr. Channel Marketing Manager, to the highly respected Women of the Channel list for 2021. This annual list recognizes the unique strengths, vision, and achievements of female leaders in the IT channel. The 2021 Women of the Channel list acknowledges women from all over the IT channel, including vendors, distributors, and solution providers.

The women honored on this year’s list pushed forward with comprehensive business plans, marketing initiatives, and other innovative ideas to support their partners and customers, helping them through the uncertainty brought on by the global COVID-19 pandemic. CRN celebrates these exceptional women for their leadership, dedication, and channel advocacy.

Scales has worked in marketing for almost 20 years, starting as an event coordinator before moving to her passion, channel marketing. She leads Code’s channel marketing department, where she is redefining and strengthening the focus of their Partner Program to reach new heights. In 2020, Scales grew the CodeAlliance reseller program 18 percent year over year and leveraged 75 events to present Code to key industry players.

Code Corporation Adds Blake Christensen as New VP of Finance

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 11, 2021--Code Corporation, a global leader in barcode scanning and data capture technologies, today announced it has hired industry veteran Blake Christensen as its new vice president of finance. “We are pleased to welcome Blake as a significant member of our leadership team,” said Kent Hansen, CEO of Code Corporation. “His successful track record and extensive experience in leading the financial operations of technology and life science businesses are proof points of his skillset. We look forward to his strategic input and impact as we manage global market challenges and position Code for the future.” Christensen comes to Code with more than 20 years of strategic finance and accounting experience, most recently servicing companies in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. As the VP of Finance, Christensen will lead Code’s finance strategy as it capitalizes on the forecasted rapid growth and expands into new markets and opportunities.
