Jess Birtcher

Jess was appointed to his current position in March 2017. Prior to this he served as Coeur's Controller beginning in 2013. Jess is a finance professional with CPA and CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) designations. Before joining Coeur, Mr. Birtcher served as Financial Services Director for Rio Tinto, a public global mining company, for six and a half years, where he was a leader for many of the finance activities for the company’s North American business units. He has also held senior financial positions at Safeco Insurance Company. Mr. Birtcher holds a B.S. in accounting and a Masters of Accountancy from Brigham Young University.
