Emma Ledger

Emma Ledger is an experienced educational leader currently serving as School Principal and Head Teacher at Cognita Schools since September 2017, overseeing EYFS and Primary while participating in the whole school Senior Leadership Team across four campuses. Prior experience includes Head Teacher at The British School of Barcelona and Primary Director at North Tyneside Learning Trust from September 2014 to July 2017, where collaboration with trust board members facilitated digital transformation and project development for 28 primary schools. Emma Ledger also held the position of Head Teacher at Stephenson Memorial Primary School from September 2009 to July 2017, leading innovative curricular changes and establishing the school as one of the first 'Apple Schools' in North Tyneside. Emma Ledger holds a Bachelor of Arts (hons) in Primary Education from Northumbria University, obtained in June 1998.
