Joe Quiogue MD has extensive experience in the clinical research industry. Joe began their career as a Research Fellow at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in 2013, where they managed a complex Rectal Cancer database and worked on editing research papers and formulating abstracts. In 2014, they joined PAREXEL INTERNATIONAL CLINICAL RESEARCH PRIVATE LIMITED as a Clinical Research Coordinator and later transitioned to the role of Clinical Research Associate, specializing in phase 1 clinical trials. In 2017, they became a Clinical Research Coordinator II at Maryland Oncology Hematology, where they managed a variety of phase I-III treatment trials. In 2019, they joined PRA Health Sciences as a Clinical Research Associate, working on phase I to phase IV studies and site feasibility. Currently, they are working as an Associate Project Manager at Cognition Therapeutics, providing support for three phase II trials targeting neurodegenerative diseases.
Joe Quiogue MD completed their Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in Manila, Philippines, from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications including a Research Fellowship from MedStar Washington Hospital Center in June 2014, and a Foreign Medical Graduate (MD) certification from ECFMG in June 2012.
