Debra Schiff is an experienced archivist and special collections librarian currently serving at The College of New Jersey since February 2020, where responsibilities include documentation creation, collection processing, rare book evaluation, and educating staff on archival handling. Since 2016, Debra has also worked as an archives consultant, conducting preservation assessments and developing workshops for cultural heritage organizations. Debra's previous positions include adult services librarian at Piscataway Public Library and local history librarian at Chester Public Library, among others. Additionally, Debra owns Deb's Delectables LLC, a handcrafted gourmet chocolate and granola business, while providing consulting services through the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference's CAPES initiative. Debra holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
