Stephanie McCaslin

Dean Of Learning Resources

Stephanie McCaslin, PhD, has extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as Dean of Learning Resources at the College of Southern Maryland since 2000. In this role, Stephanie provides leadership for Library Services, First Year Learning Seminar, Learning Support Services, the Math Resource Center, Distance Learning, and Faculty Development, aiming to enhance educational effectiveness through strategic resource co-location. Additionally, Stephanie chairs the Math and Engineering department and has held the position of Associate Dean for the School of Professional and Technical Studies since 2020. Previous academic roles include a professorship at Towson University and teaching at St. Mary's County Public Schools. Stephanie holds a PhD in Mathematics Education from Capella University, a Master's in Mathematics Education from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor's of Science in Education from the University of Maryland, along with an Associate's Degree in Arts & Humanities from Charles County Community College.
