Alam Pirani is the Vice Chairman and Head of Hotels for Colliers in Canada and the Caribbean, where they have been responsible for hotel investment advisory services since 1991. Recognized as a leader in the Canadian hotel real estate market, Alam specializes in sourcing equity and debt capital for hotel and leisure investments, having actively participated in transactions exceeding $19 billion. Alam previously worked as a consultant at Laventhol & Horwath, advising clients on development, valuation, and strategic planning within the lodging industry. They hold a degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Ryerson University, graduated in 1988, and are currently a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants. An avid fan of Arsenal Football Club, Alam frequently engages in industry conferences as a guest speaker and moderator.
